The Falls is an upscale bar in DTLA with a great happy hour and a creative drink menu. Just fyi, while there's no food, you can order from a restaurant across the street.
Great Lounge Hollywood Vibe w/OUT the Hollywood Drama – I live downtown just a block away from The Fall, LOVE IT! Even though the look of the place is Upscale I dont feel like I need to be dressed up to go in. No Cover, and awesome drinks (average $10 cocktails).
When you arrive Otis is at the front door to make sure you are of age and even if your not a local he makes you feel like one.
If you want a bar that gives you the Uptown Vibe without the Uptown DRAMA...
The Falls is where you need to be...
Citysearch Editorial Review – This artsy Spring Street haunt joins the growing number of upscale bars downtown, and it makes an obvious choice to hang out when your dogs are tired from the Art Walk. Owner Michelle Marini, who also brought us the Lava Lounge, creates a Twin Peaksy urban-rustic vibe with log walls, high beams, a post-modern waterfall video installation above the bar (The Falls, get it?), gold-plated tree trunk tables, giant chandeliers and shimmering brass walls. The cocktail list includes concoctions made with fresh juices and handcrafted bitters, and boutique bourbons and tequilas while a dozen beers are split between bottles and draught. Classic 70s rock from Aerosmith to Led Zeppelin rock the house, which can get crowded with both locals and tourists on a Saturday night.
